TERROR ON THE BEACH 1973
U.S. TV movie. If you like the kind of movies where a gang of weirdo hippie-bikers gets their enjoyment from tormenting a nice family for no reason, then you're gonna love this flick. Plus, it features Laurie Partridge in tight hot pants and a bikini.

A family on vacation traveling up the California coast is run off the road by a weirdo dune buggy drivin' maniac and hippie fire truck. Later the family sees the fire truck in need of road assistance. They stop to help but discover a tribe of scary hippies that look like the Manson family who have speakers, microphones and recording equipment stashed in the fire truck.

Meanwhile the teenage son and his father argue about going to college and facing up to the challenges of life. Pretty soon the whole family is arguing with each other—then the music gets creepy and we see a sinister looking dune buggy prowling the beach and spying on the family.

As the family goes off to do different activities they hear screaming from the ocean and the father and son go to help and see a floating body. As they attempt a rescue they discover it is a mannequin wearing the daughter's clothes. Creepy.

When they get back to their campsite they discover it has been destroyed and the distributor is cap missing from their RV. Next, very loud sounds of jungle animals wake up the family—soon they hear their own voices being broadcast loudly and discover a hidden microphone in their camper.

HISTORY OF THE HELLS ANGELS
U.S. documentary. A cool look at the history of the outlaw biker gang that formed in 1948 by returning war veterans looking for action that peacetime America didn't offer. War surplus motorcycles were cheap and plentiful for ex-solders looking for camaraderie. Riding, racing and raising hell become a way of life for motorcycle clubs with names like the Booze Fighters and the Pissed Off Bastards.

An annul motorcycle gathering in Hollister, California in 1947 becomes the birthplace for the general public's awareness of "bikers" due to the Hollister Riots and becomes the basis for the film, "The Wild Ones." Hunter S. Thompsom lives with the Angels for a year to gather information for his novel, "Hell's Angels: The Strange and Terrible Saga of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs." In the 1960s "biker films" become very popular.

Lots of good historical information provides an insight into the biker world and the history that makes them what they are today. Very good vintage film footage. Those interviews include: Sonny Barger, Hunter S. Thompsom, George Christie, others.
