"The Combo" Dec-9-65. Jeff's groovy rock n roll group plays a teen party and a cute babe asks them if they plan to make a record. Hey, great idea! The boys scramble to raise money to buy recording equipment. The group rehearses in Jeff's garage and their song, "I Want To Be Free," sounds like a cross between the Monkees, Association with a touch of Soul.

The group decides to form a record company and sells shares of stock to all the cool kids on campus. In the end their shipment of 45s gets left out in sun and they all become warped. They decide to sell them as rock and roll boomerangs!
