MOTHER GOOSE A-GO-GO (a.k.a. THE UNKISSED BRIDE) 1966
U.S. film. It's the pre-Viagra '60s. After a disastrous wedding night (i.e. no sex), Tommy Kirk seeks help from a bikini-clad sex therapist who diagnoses LSD which causes soft-core hallucinations of scantily-clad incarnations of Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White! Tommy Kirk croons several numbers including "Mother Goose A-Go-Go." Barbara McNair sings, "Queen of Soul."

Set in Shoreham Towers (a deluxe Sunset Strip apartment house popular with the '60s swingin' singles set). In real life, Art Linkletter's 20 year-old daughter Diane, plunged to her death from one of the towers' upper windows while (rumor has it) tripping on acid.

Wild go-go dance scene filmed at Gazzarri's on Sunset Strip nightclub. Tommy Kirk, Anne Helm, Henny Youngman, Jacques Bergerac, Danica D'Hondt, Melinda O. Fee, Robert Ball, '60s "shock jock" Joe Pyne. Mother Goose A Go Go.

Plus this bonus selection...

DRAGNET 1967
"The Big LSD." Jan-12-67. Blue Boy flips out on LSD sugar cubes, paints his face, buries his head in the dirt, eats tree bark and rants, "The train, the train, I'm on the train!" A girl describers her trip as, "weird colors and a big eye with everything melting."

I just had to add this to my library of WTF 1960s LSD films...and I've very glad I did. It absolutley offers a new take on the LSD film genre. Recommened. (Posted on 10/21/15)
Tommy should have stayed out of this one Review by Rod

I'm a big Tommy Kirk fan and have been purchasing and viewing his post childhood films and I like them but this just falls flat. It sounds like wacky fun but it's not. It sounds Camp but it's not. If only... If you remember Henny Youngman and Joe Pyne this film is a curiosity for their brief appearances. Sorry Video Beat but I can't recommend this film. (Posted on 3/12/15)
