U.S. documentary. Rock concert, hippie, marijuana, midnight movie! Tom Donahue, San Francisco underground DJ and founder of Autumn Records and KSAN, leads a rock n roll caravan across the United States in 1970.

Lots of long hair, beards, pot smoking and rock n roll. Musical acts include B.B. King, Alice Cooper, Sal Valentino (from Beau Brummels), Stoneground and Doug Kershaw. Woodstock inspired "split screens."

A couple in the troupe get "busted" along the way! At Antioch College in Ohio, students try to stop the making of the film. David Peel goes on a wild rant! Martin Scorcese edited film and was associate producer. Medicine Ball Caravan!
