I had always wanted to own the Japan concert since I'd seen a clip in The Compleat Beatles back in the 1980's. Both concerts were in great quality. Very Happy. (Posted on 1/28/16) - Best quality I've ever seen. Review by Josh

Music Attitude Fun
I've had this Beatles show on VHS and then DVD going back to the 1980s. I've "upgraded" several times. But I've never seen the show in this great quality until now. As crisp and clear as if from modern TV. Very impressed. Thanks Video Beat. (Posted on 8/9/14) - Shea & Japan: Two very different concerts Review by Jesse

Music Attitude Fun
Both of these concerts are very historically significant. The first, Shea, was the first big, outdoor stadium concert. You can tell the Beatles were really enjoying themselves at Shea, and John playing the keyboard with his elbow is definitely a highlight. The second program on this DVD is the Beatles at Budokan Hall, filmed in 1966, a year after Shea. This film is a good document showing the end of the Beatles' performing career. Their final concert at Candlestick was just two months later. At Budokan, you can tell that the Beatles' hearts weren't there; they were just going through the motions. Still, it is historically most worth having for any collector. (Posted on 2/25/11)
