THE RESTLESS YEARS 1958
U.S. film. Excellent quality. Widescreen letterbox. Sandra Dee's first film and first kiss (except for her stepfather—but that's another story!) Wow! This is an intense, sordid teen drama. The parents are all messed up! They dump all their hang-ups on their kids.

A teen romance is threatened by small-minded town. Melinda (Sandra Dee) is a bastard child whose mother is a neurotic woman slowly losing her mental grip. She meets Will (John Saxon), a clean-teen boy from the wrong side of the tracks with a down-on-his-luck father and a mother who lives in a fantasy world. We find out that even the "good families" are actually drunken wives and impotent fathers. Yikes! No wonder the teens want to park and make-out.

The same Hollywood "downtown film set" from "Back To The Future" is used...except no Biff! Pretty cool! John Saxon, Sandra Dee, Teresa Wright, James Whitmore, Luana Patten, Margaret Lindsay, Virginia Grey, Jody McCrea, Gary Vinson.

Plus this bonus selection...

SATURDAY NIGHT BEECH.NUT SHOW 1958
U.S. TV show. Sep-13-58. The Tune Rockers: "The Green Mosquito" and "Warm Up." Fabian: "Lilly Lou." Johnnie & Joe: "Darling" and "Over the Mountain Across the Sea." Johnny Nash: "Almost in Your Arms." Something Smith and the Redheads: "I Don't Want to Set the World Fire." Note: The Tune Rockers go absolutely ape-wild! This was Fabian's first-ever singing appearance on this TV show. It's very early in his singing career; not as polished as later on.
