BLUE DENIN (a.k.a. Blue Jeans) 1959
U.S. film. 4:3 aspect ratio. Clueless parents that are out-of-touch with their children's lives lead to teenage pregnancy and a planned secret abortion. Heavy for the 1950s. Very spooky scene where the teenaged lovers meet the abortionist. Classic 1950s teenage exploitation.

Terrific teen dance scene with Roberta Shore and Warren Berlinger singing a pseudo-rockabilly song complete with hiccups! Brandon De Wilde, Carol Lynley, Warren Berlinger, Roberta Shore, William Schallert, Marsha Hunt.

Plus this bonus selection...

HOW MUCH AFFECTION? 1958
U.S. educational film. Mary, a teenage girl, is upset because she and Jeff have just found themselves on the brink of going all the way! Mary’s mom tells her to "slow down" so that she can exercise "judgment rather than emotion."

In the final scene, Mary invites Jeff inside for a sandwich after a party—instead of going to the point to "park" like the other kids. They dance together as Mom's echo-y voice reminds Mary to... "just slow down." Afterwords, Jeff limps home with a throbbing abdomen and relieves himself. (I made up that last part).
