BLOODY FRIDAY 1972
DE/IT film. Excellent quality. Widescreen. Ingredients: fuzz guitar, boss soundtrack, long-haired anti-establishment types, Euro babes, a misogynist, a lesbian, studly guys, strange sex montage, a psychotic bearded A-hole in leather pants and Elvis sunglasses, filthy language delivered in an amusing manner, bank robbery, tons of weapons, bloody gore & violence and a German-Italian pedigree.

We heard this film featured beatniks and drugs. Unfortunately, unless a beard makes a beatnik and nicotine is a drug, this is not a beatnik-drug movie. However, it'll easily hook you and has a 1972 youth sub-culture vibe. If that doesn't do it, there's also sex, violence, gore and lots of foul-mouthed language dubbed in English that sometimes sounds as if it's being read rather than spoken. If you're going to say the "C-Word," it must be said with gusto! But...when spoken as if being read, it's very entertaining.

Heinz Klett gives his prison guards the slip on the way to a court hearing, wasting no time he rounds up a couple of mates and storms a bank in search of the heist of a lifetime. Taking a load of innocent bystanders hostage the idea is to demand a million dollar ransom and then skip the country. As is to be expected things go a bit awry some of the hostages get killed, one gets raped and his partners in crime start to wonder what the hell they've gotten themselves into.

Bloody Friday features Gila von Weitershausen who starred in Angel Baby 1968. Raimund Harmstorf, Amadeus August, Gianni Macchia, Christine Böhm, Ernst H. Hilbich, Gila von Weitershausen, Daniela Giordano, Walter Buschhoff, Renate Roland, Horst Naumann, Totò Mignone, E.O. Fuhrmann.
