U.S. TV special. Sep-19-71. Music and comedy TV special. Comedians, singers, and athletes join in the fun by participating in skits and comedy bits that all lead up to the Jackson Five's big live "homecoming" concert in Gary, Indiana on May 29, 1971.

Comedians Bill Cosby and Tom Smothers. Football players Roosevelt "Rosey" Grier and Ben Davidson. Basketball "dream team" Elgin Baylor, Ben Davison, Elvin Hayes, and Bill Russell. Singers Bobby Darin and Diana Ross.

Footage of the group arriving at the venue and crowds of fans screaming and running. Note: the group is playing live and really plays their instruments well! Tito is cool on fuzz electric guitar. The dance moves are tight and look fantastic.

Songs include: "I Want You Back," "Maybe Tomorrow," "ABC," "Stand!," "Feelin' Alright," "I Want to Take You Higher," "Walk On," "The Love You Save," "Goin' Back to Indiana." Includes original TV commercials; one for the TV show "Longstreet" features Bruce Lee.
