Using archival film footage and interviews, this documentary examines the history of the Twist dance craze and the overlooked role of blacks in producing American pop culture. Interviews include Hank Ballard, Joey Dee, Chubby Checker, Gary "U.S." Bonds, several Bandstand "regulars" and others.
