THE TIGERS BEAUTIFUL CONCERT 1971
JP TV. On January 1, 1971, Japanese Group Sounds (GS) band the Tigers played together for the last time at a sayonara concert performed at the famous Budokan Hall in Tokyo called, "The Tigers Beautiful Concert."

When talking about the 1966-69 Japanese GS Boom the Tigers are usually one of the first groups that come to mind. Inspired by the Beatles and British Invasion groups, The Tigers were a beat-pop-harmony group that featured several lead singers who could sing in English.

Although there might have been other groups who were more musically proficient, The Tigers captured the spirit of GS on an international and historical level like no other group...except perhaps The Spiders.

In 1971, with the GS Boom over and group members going in their own directions, the boys decided to play one final concert for their fans. The audience is filled with excited girls crying in their handkerchiefs. It's quite dramatic & emotional seeing the group and their fans interact for what they all know will be the last time.

Songs: Part I. Time Is On My Side, Dock Of The Bay (Sung by Sally), Yellow River (Sung by Taro), Henry The VIII I Am/Justine/What'd I Say/Henry The VIII I Am (Sung by Pee), Lalena (Sung by Siro), Je T'aime, Anybody's Answer, Heartbreaker.
