The Kaisers are a Scottish beat group who play in the tradition of the early 60s Liverpool-Hamburg beat scene. Hard driving beat numbers and harmony ballads define their original compositions and cover tunes. Their influences include: The Big Three, Faron's Flamingos, The Undertakers, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes and The Silver Beatles.

The boys crossed the Atlantic to make a series of stateside appearances. This show, filmed in color by a fan at NYC's Mercury Lounge in May 1996, captures the spirit of 1961 Reeperbahn beat music! Group line-up: Kaiser Johnny Maben (drums), Kaiser Angus McIntyre (rhythm guitar), Kaiser George Miller (ld. guitar) and Kaiser Mark Ferrie (bass).
