TWO ON A GUILLOTINE 1965
U.S. film. Rock and Roll by The Condors featuring George and Teddy! The movie poster said, "Attention: Guillotine-agers! Wouldn't you like to learn how to flip your lid? If you're chopping for entertainment, here's the super-shocker of them all!" John Harley Duquesne (Cesar Romero) is an eccentric magician who accidentally cuts off his wife's head with a guillotine during a performance. Because of his bizarre lifestyle he sends his daughter to live with an aunt. Twenty years later, upon learning of her father's death, Cassie Duquesne (Connie Stevens) travels to Los Angeles to attend his funeral.

During the reading of Duquesne's will (held onstage at the Hollywood Bowl!) Cassie is told she will inherit her father's estate on the condition that she spend seven nights in his gothic mansion. Reporter Val Henderson (Dean Jones) offers to stay with Cassie when he learns Duquesne promised to return in spirit form during Cassie's weeklong stay. All kinds of creepy things begin to happen.

Look for a way-out, wild, rock and roll scene in a discotheque featuring The Condors on stage wailing on the song, "Go Baby!" There are go-go dancers in cages and all the kids are shaking their butts off! Connie Stevens elbows Dean Jones for him to look at a teenage girl dancing wildly with her boobs flailing. Ah, good times. The Condors are probably best known for the song, "Ain't That Just Like Me" which was covered in pure Merseybeat style by the Hollies on their debut U.K single in 1963.

Midget actor Billy Curtis ("The Wizard Of Oz," "The Terror Of Tiny Town," etc.) plays the bartender of "Big Mike's" bar. Connie Stevens sings the Cole Porter song, "What Is This Thing Called Love?"
Dell Comics published a comic book version of the film in 1965. Connie Stevens, Dean Jones, Cesar Romero. Parley Baer, Virginia Gregg, Connie Gilchrist, William Conrad, Richard Kiel, John Hoyt, Russell Thorson. Two on a Guillotine!
