U.K. film. Filmed in Gerard Gardens, Liverpool. Opens with a few West Side Story-style shots of the Liver building and City Centre. A very nasty-looking David McCallum plays the leader of a tough Liverpool street gang with a penchant for arson. Excellent juvenile delinquent drama.

Climactic violent ending. Johnny Luck sings rockabilly number "Play Tough." Rockin' soundtrack. Freddie Starr, Stanley Baker, Anne Heywood, Peter Cushing, John Slater, Clifford Evans. Cool movie! Violent Playground.

TEENAGERS ON TRIAL 1955
U.S. short film. Suburban teenage gangs knock children off their bikes and steal them. Other teens break windows for fun. A "nice" girl shoplifts. Bad boys steal cars. Teenage boys and girls travel to outlying towns to go to honky tonks where the bartenders turn a blind eye to the legal drinking age. Teens in "real" jail become hardened.
