U.S. film. Excellent quality. 4:3 aspect ratio. One of the most sophisticated plots of all the 1950s JD teen movies. Teenage inmates at a reform school attempt a break out and two of the boys are shot and killed in the process.

As a result, the Governor appoints a new head of the institution who has very liberal reform ideals—he decides to bring in hot, sexy, JD, bad girls and make the joint coed.

Whoa. Watch out. Ultimately it's a couple of lowdown, no good, hoodlum punks that prevent the "new programs" from being successful. In the end it's more violence, hostages and well…you'll see.

U.S. educational film. Wow, what a great short film. It's got awesome, raw, do-it-yourself rock 'n' roll by The Five Chips who pound out Chuck Berry and Doo Wop tunes. Filmed in San Francisco, dozens of real street gangs are represented. Cool duck-tailed gangs on the streets and in pool halls. The gangs learn to help out in their community (with cigarettes dangling from their mouths!)
